Wanted: Adventurous souls to take part in a fundraising challenge with a difference!

The FSNBF Global Challenge
This year, the FSNBF is inviting brave and intrepid souls to take part in a fundraising attempt with a difference. Now in its 7th year, the FSNBF Global Challenge is an experience like no other. Previous teams have trekked across some of the most far-flung destinations in the world - from Australia to China, New Zealand to Namibia - raising much-needed funds for the FSNBF in the process.
Are you looking for the experience of a lifetime? This year, the charity is seeking individuals to join a team from across the UK, heading south to Peru for a series of exciting physical challenges. From whitewater rafting to mountain biking, hiking the world-famous Inca trail and even visiting the lost city of Machu Picchu - you'll do it all whilst supporting the UK fire services charity - the FSNBF.
Peru - what's it like? There's so much more to Peru than Paddington's Aunt Lucy! Land of the ancient Inca empire, modern Peru has much to offer for those seeking a journey of contrasts. We'll visit deserts, volcanoes, waterfalls and coasts. We'll climb the highest peaks to watch the flight of the condor, visit bottomless canyons, tour magnificent Incan ruins and shop and eat in bustling cities full of vibrant life. In short, we'll sample a bit of everything that Peru has to offer.
How challenging is it?The simple answer to this question is - as challenging as you want it to be. It's a multi-activity trip, which means we'll be taking part in a wide variety of activities each day. Each participant will require a good level of general fitness, but the range of activities on offer means you can set your own pace and do what you feel capable of.
