Continuing Professional Development – The way forward

The paper briefly outlined the development of the Institution of Fire Engineers approach to Continuing Professional Development, and then described the principles, philosophy and requirements of the Institution's policy. The paper provided advice and support for individuals and organisations about how to manage CPD and concluded by posing some questions about the development of CPD in the future.
