The 14th Annual Conference of Fire Related Research & Developments (RE09) was held at the Fire Service College, Moreton-in-Marsh on 11th November 2009. Dr Jeans organized the first of these conferences in 1996 and was duly presented with an award for this contribution by Louise Craig, Chief Executive Officer of The IFE. The event was a unique opportunity that saw debate and networking as well as keeping up-to-date with the latest fire research and development issues.
