Usually, at least 5 years of professional experience in fire engineering is required before applying to be registered as an Engineering Technician. If you feel that your experience is sufficient, it is possible to apply with less than 5 years of relevant professional experience. However, please bear in mind that you might not be successful at this point in your career.
