NC or ND in either Engineering or Construction & the Built Environment
City & Guilds Higher Professional Diploma in Engineering
IFE Member Exams (a pass in all four papers)
IFE Graduate Exams (a pass in all four papers)
FSEB Station Officer Exams ( a pass in all four written papers)
Foundation Degree, HNC or HND in Fire Safety Engineering (from UCLan, the Fire Service College or Eastleigh College)
Foundation Degree, HNC or HND in Fire Safety Studies (from UCLan, the Fire Service College or Eastleigh College)
HNC or HND in Fire Engineering (University of Wales at Bridgend College)
