Approved Course

An IFE Approved Course is any course that has been assessed by the Institution of Fire Engineers as not equivalent to the Institution's Examinations, in whole or part, but which is of a standard and quality that is worthy of association with the Institution.

Approved Centre

An IFE Approved Centre is a Training Establishment or Centre that offers courses, which may or may not be equivalent to the Institution's Examinations, that are all of a standard and quality that is worthy of association with the Institution.

How do I get my Courses Approved or my Centre Approved?

For training providers interested in applying for the accreditation/approval of courses and/or centre approval, please complete the application form, downloadable from the link below, and return it to us marked for the attention of the Professional Standards Administrator. If it is course accreditation that you wish to apply for, the Accreditation Team will assess the content of the course against the current IFE Examinations Syllabus.
