Approved Course
An IFE Approved Course is any course that has been assessed by the Institution of Fire Engineers as not equivalent to the Institution's Examinations, in whole or part, but which is of a standard and quality that is worthy of association with the Institution.

Approved Course with Academic Exemption
An IFE approved Course is any course that has been assessed by the Institution of Fire Engineers as meeting the academic requirements for the various grades of IFE membership and are of a standard and quality that is worthy of association with the Institution.

Approved Course Provider
An IFE Approved Course Provider is a Training Establishment or Centre that offers courses that may or may not meet the academic requirements for the various grades of IFE membership and are of a standard and quality that is worthy of association with the Institution.

How do I get my courses or my organisation approved?
For training providers interested in applying for approval of courses and/or centre approval, please complete the application form, downloadable from the link below, and return it to us marked for the attention of the Examinations Officer.
