How do I apply to sit the examinations?
Step 1: You must be a member
You must be a member of the Institution before you can book to sit an examination. If you are not already in membership, you can join as a Student which does not require you to have any previous academic qualifications. To join as a Student member please click here. If you live outside the UK, you must apply to your local IFE branch for membership, if a local branch exists. Details of IFE branches outside the UK can be found by clicking here.
Step 2: Download an application form
Download an application form by clicking
here.
The application form contains details of examination papers available in 2008, worldwide examination centres and fees. Instructions are provided within the form to advise applicants about where to send the form and payment.
If you are resident in a country which has a local branch, your application form and payment must be sent to your local branch for processing before 31 October. Please contact your local branch as soon as possible to avoid the risk of missing the deadline. Contact details for local branches can be found in the application form.
All other applications and payments must be received at IFE Head Office before 30 November. The Institution is unable to process applications received after the deadline stated. Applicants are strongly advised to apply as early as possible.
