Young Professionals Network

The group was created to:
- unite young professionals working in fire engineering
- develop links within the profession
- promote fire engineering
- share information and discuss current issues
- provide advice on IFE membership and Engineering Council registration
The aims of the network are to:
- encourage more people to become members of the Institution by informing many different groups involved in fire engineering
- provide support and guidance to newer members of the Institution
- carry forward the views of the Network's membership and provide feedback to the IFE General Assembly for consideration
- provide advice on fire engineering or membership issues to new members by referring them to appropriate people within the Institution
- pass on information about texts, organisations, websites, links or persons that have proved useful and/or helpful in an individual's professional development
- provide information regarding study for the Institution's examinations
- provide guidance to members wishing to progress through the varying grades of membership
- provide information and contacts to inform members about the Institution's Engineering Council Division
