  • provide support and guidance to newer members of the Institution
  • carry forward the views of the Network's membership and provide feedback to the IFE General Assembly for consideration
  • provide advice on fire engineering or membership issues to new members by referring them to appropriate people within the Institution
  • pass on information about texts, organisations, websites, links or persons that have proved useful and/or helpful in an individual's professional development
  • provide information regarding study for the Institution's examinations
  • provide guidance to members wishing to progress through the varying grades of membership
