Synopsis

Brief Synopsis

Two auxiliary firefighters (Ffs) died due to their injuries as a result of a road traffic accident whilst travelling in a ‘Green Goddess’ (House & Settle, 2016).

It is understood that the two Ffs were killed when the appliance one of them was driving went through a red traffic signal light. A turntable ladder (TL) that the Green Goddess was following had just passed through the same lights when they were showing green. The appliance collided with a bus injuring 42 people (Unknown author, 1964).
