Synopsis

Brief Synopsis

A Sub Officer (SubO) died due to unspecified (at this time) service injuries (House & Settle, 2016).

The SubO had been leading a team of Breathing Apparatus (BA) wearers and did not respond to a signal to withdraw. A subsequent rescue team went into the building and found him lying on the floor unconscious. Efforts to revive the SubO failed. 3 others, another SubO, a firefighter (Ff) and an auxiliary Ff were also injured at the incident (Unknown Author, 1967).

It is not currently known what the cause of death was.
