Synopsis

Brief synopsis

On the 8th August 1972 an Assistant Divisional Officer (ADO) died at a fire scene following a floor collapse (House & Settle et al, 2017).

The collapse was believed to have involved a hay loft. The inquest was told that the cause of death was suffocation (Jeffcock, 2017 & Unknown Author, 1972).
