Synopsis

Brief synopsis

On the 4th December 1976 a retained duty system (RDS) firefighter collapsed and died at the fire station after responding from home to a call (House & Settle et al, 2016). It is not currently known what the cause of the stated collapse was e.g. if this was a heart attack or other cause of collapse and subsequent death.
