Synopsis

Brief synopsis

On the 30th November 1978 a firefighter (Ff) (unknown rank) collapsed at an incident and died later. The Benevolent Fund has a Ff of a similar name dying on the same date and in West Yorkshire (House & Settle et al, 2017).

It is not currently clear which service or what incident this happened at. It is not currently known what the cause of the stated collapse was e.g. if this was a heart attack or other cause of illness or injury and subsequent death.
