Synopsis

Brief synopsis

On the 2nd May 1980 a Sub Officer (SubO) died from injuries resulting from an RTC involving a fire appliance en-route to an incident (House & Settle et al, 2017). 

It is currently understood from an anecdotal conversation that the appliance was en route to bushes on fire when it passed a car and hit a tree. The other 4 members of the crew were all injured.
