Synopsis

Brief Synopsis

On the 1st May 1982 a Sub Officer (SubO) died from a heart attack whilst at the scene of a small fire incident at a restaurant (House & Settle et al, 2017).

The SubO was in charge of a backup appliance which had been called to the fire. The SubO had climbed onto the roof of the premises to remove an air duct cover when he collapsed (Unknown author, 1982 via Kirkwood, 2018).
