Event Overview
Participants will then experience a live fire test demonstration during an exclusive laboratory tour, providing unique insight into real-world testing procedures and methodologies. The technical focus of the day centres on Reaction to Fire testing of materials, including the role the test methods play in identifying high-risk materials The session will conclude with an interactive quiz to reinforce the learning points, followed by a networking lunch.

About the Speakers
Daniel Fitzsimmons, UKTC Head of Testing
Dan joined UKTC in late 2021 from Warringtonfire where he managed their testing department for almost a decade. His vision to create something innovative and meaningful and to change the way people think about fire testing is at the forefront of UKTC’s mission. Daniel is seen as one of the leading experts on Fire Resistance testing in the UK.
Andrew Hutchson, UKTC Operations Director
In late 2020, not long after the company's inception, Andrew started in the role of Technical Manager where he led the implementation of UKTC's fire resistance testing operations. Andrew was promoted to the role of Operations Director in 2025 and now oversees the commercial and testing operations of the business with accountability of the operational performance, capacity and compliance.
