London branch - Risk Assessment for Charging Stations in Car Parks

From our London branch

Join us for this free, online webinar covering risk assessment in car parks for fire engineers.

Overview

Car park fires are challenging. But what happens when an EV battery is involved? Flammable gases, jet flames, toxic smoke, unpredictable fire behaviour, and significant challenges for firefighting can all come into play.

At the same time, EV charging stations are increasingly being installed in indoor car parks, often with multiple EVs grouped in the same area. Without appropriate fire protection, this can create new challenges for fire safety.

In this webinar, we will explore how EV fires behave, what needs to be considered in a fire risk assessment, and which strategies and mitigation measures can be used to manage these risks.
