From our New Zealand branch
The IFE New Zealand Branch is hosting a one-day live fire programme designed for fire engineers, architects, designers, council personnel, fire safety professionals and others with an interest in the fire safety design of buildings.
Delivered by experienced firefighters and fire officers, the programme provides participants with practical exposure to fire and smoke behaviour, fire development, firefighting techniques, search and rescue operations, sprinkler and smoke detection systems, and incident command simulation exercises. Through a series of realistic demonstrations and hands-on activities, attendees will gain a greater understanding of the challenges associated with fire safety and emergency response in the built environment.
Target audience: Fire Engineers, Architects, Building Designers, Council Staff, Fire Safety Professionals, and those working within or interested in fire-related industries.
