About the Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Fire Safety Manager to lead fire safety compliance and risk management across the Council’s corporate property portfolio. This is a key role for a technically skilled professional who can provide expert advice, carry out thorough assessments, and support the delivery of fire safety projects that protect people, property, and operations.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all buildings meet fire safety legislation and regulatory standards, while also helping to shape and implement effective fire safety strategies. The role involves both strategic oversight and hands-on site work, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a varied and impactful environment.

The role will be situated within the Technical Compliance Team and will report to the technical Compliance Manager. The small, dynamic team consists of the Technical Compliance Manager, Asbestos Specialist, Fire Safety Manager, Data Officer and Safety and Compliance Officer.
