IFE to host 2019 International Conference in Brighton

The IFE is pleased to announce its 96th AGM, International Conference and International President’s Dinner will be held on the UK’s coast in the seaside resort of Brighton.

Focusing on the theme ‘Professionalism and ethics in the fire sector’, the two-day conference will feature a mixture of plenary sessions and interactive workshops. The keynote speaker has just been confirmed as Roy Wilsher, Chair of the National Fire Chiefs Council, who will address delegates on the first day of conference.

Located at the Jurys Inn Brighton Waterfront, the conference will take place on 17-18th July 2019. The 96th AGM will be held at the same venue at 9am on the morning of 17th July ahead of the conference beginning later that morning.

This year’s International President’s Dinner, hosted by Richard Fowler, will be held at the unique venue of the British Airways i360 on the evening of 17th July. Guests will enjoy a drinks reception in the sky onboard the i360 pod which gently glides 450ft high providing stunning coastal views. After departing the pod, guests will enjoy a three-course meal dining at the seafront location. Please note, tickets for this evening event are limited and early booking is advised to avoid disappointment.
